how I got here After studying textiles at The School of Design in Wellington, I moved to Auckland and in 1992 started my first job as a part-time showroom assistant at Mokum. In 2001 I left New Zealand and crossed the Tasman to Sydney with my soon to be husband. There I established Mokum's design studio which now resides above our Rushcutters Bay showroom at 98 Barcom Avenue. It's amazing to see the how the company and our studio have grown over the last 16 years. I am very proud to head such a talented team of textile designers who are all extremely smart, creative and loads of fun!

some things I like Sleeping in late, heading off to a local beach for an afternoon swim, lemonade popsicles, Mexican food and margaritas, indigenous handicrafts in particular Pacific and Mexican (currently collecting Mexican pressed tin), traveling in style, good coffee, New York, Indie and Americana music, distinctive fashion (current favourites are Dries Van Noten and Akira Isogawa) Visiting Disneyland in LA and being a child for a day, holiday's at Whangapoua Beach with friends and family and last but by no means least, drum roll please - Mr Bob Dylan!
