how I got here After a semester of studying pharmacy and finding out quite quickly that that was not for me I put all my energy into changing my direction to the creative field of textile design. During my five years of study in Germany I discovered my passion for weaving and textiles construction and above all for Australia, as I was lucky enough to spend a semester in Tasmania studying textile art. After finishing my university degree in Germany I came back to Australia to expand my weaving knowledge at several hand-weaving studios in Tasmania. My love for colourful and hand-woven textiles brought me then to India for a year, where I worked as textile designer for a silk mill. But the southern hemisphere was calling me again. I moved to New Zealand where I designed textiles for an Auckland based textiles company for four years. Through this connection I got to know Mokum and decided when the opportunity arose to become part of the team.

some things I like travelling overseas, bushwalking whenever I can, my friends in different parts of the world, experiencing different cultures, eating out in exotic places, learning French, fresh cut flowers, my tomato plants.
